Strong drop in the number of companies prepared to take on apprentices
Despite the government’s drive for more young people to take trade apprenticeships, a trade skills training college is reporting a huge drop in the number of companies in Surrey and Hampshire prepared to take on apprentices when the new academic term starts in September 2008.
