Strong demand for more female plumbers

According to a report from the Equal Opportunities Commission in 2001, there were only 17 registered female plumbers. Plumbers' retirement prospects are slowly beginning to improve

Plumbing business owners say their retirement prospects are finally beginning to improve as the UK begins to emerge from recession. Plumbers believe the recession is far from over

According to the latest quarterly survey carried out by Clifton Asset Management (CAM), small business owners in the plumbing sector believe the worst of the recession may be over – but fear that it has another year or more left to run.
