Abseilers replace Baxi Megaflo boilers flues in Nottingham tower blocks
Nottingham City Homes is replacing the old boilers on the Woodlands Estate in Nottingham with new, high efficiency Baxi Megaflo boilers. But there’s a problem. New health and safety guidelines on food hygiene and gas safety are bringing in work for Goldstar FV, the commercial kitchens maker. Baxi and Zenex promote technologies that improve energy efficiency of domestic boilers
The Zenex GasSaver is a flue gas heat recovery device that sits in the flueway on top of the boiler and recovers normally wasted heat energy from the flue gases. The recovered heat is stored in the GasSaver unit and used to pre-heat the cold water that supplies the domestic hot water (DHW) system.
