Geminox Modusat provides fast recovery hot water and high efficiency heating
(17/08/2006)
Geminox have launched the Modusat unit in the UK, which provides flats and apartments with independent fast recovery hot water and high efficiency heating.
The Modusat unit consists of a fast recovery hot water tank, hydraulic header and pump and mixing valve set for heating, together with an energy meter to enable a total billing solution for the amount of energy each flat or apartment uses.
The Modusat is powered by main heating primaries from a centralised plant package. Whilst Geminox can provide the boiler plant to power the Modusat, the centralised plant can also be a combination of renewable energy such as solar, ground source heat pumps or CHP with top up boiler plant, which is in line with latest legislation encouraging centralised plant instead of electric heating and hot water .
With the in-built energy meter Geminox can provide a total package which can be simple read-only meters, or a complete billing solution using BUS wire communication billing software to provide the end user with an itemised energy bill.
