The next Bathroom Conference will take place on Tuesday 14 October 2008 at the Forest of Arden Hotel, Meriden in Warwickshire.

Sustainability and green issues are high on the world’s agenda, so event hosts and organisers, the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA), have chosen ‘sustainability’ as the focus for this year’s event.

The 2008 Bathroom Conference will delve into all aspects of the subject from corporate and social responsibilities, sustainable communities, economic consequences and expectations for tomorrow’s bathrooms. Even fair trade in the Bathroom Industry will be covered and of course, the sustainability of water and water usage.

The event promises to deliver timely and stimulating sessions, packed full of vital information that no Bathroom Industry professional can afford to be without, particularly in the current challenging climate.

Last year’s Bathroom Conference held in Oxford was a huge success with the number of delegates up by a third from the 2006 event and with positive feedback all round.

Speaking about the Annual Bathroom Conference, BMA Chief Executive Yvonne Orgill says: “There really is no other event for the Bathroom Industry quite like the Annual Bathroom Conference. The 2007 event was fantastic, from the quality of the speakers to the entertainment at the gala dinner.

“All delegates left very satisfied armed full of information to take back to their businesses, whether a manufacturer, retailer, designer or just someone with an interest in the Bathroom Industry. Everyone had a tremendous day packed with numerous networking opportunities. The excellent press coverage of the event is testimony to that.

“This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better. We’ve secured a superb venue and promise a fascinating line up of speakers. With important changes to building regulations and the Government’s strategy for the future of water in the UK, this year’s event will deliver some very timely messages indeed.”
