Curzon Heating Components is in the midst of a huge expansion programme, increasing its branch network from 23 to 33 this year alone. New branches have been opened in Manchester, Surrey, Southampton, Coventry, Luton and Leeds in the last month, with further expansion plans set for 2008.

The ambitious growth strategy combines stand-alone Curzon branch launches with the opening of Curzon counters in existing Graham and Jewson branches - sister companies of Curzon - and fully equipped mobile units. The move provides a significantly wider network across the UK for existing and new customers than would be possible through independent branches alone and in many areas offers customers a one-stop-shop for heating, plumbing and building products.

Newly appointed Curzon Business Development Manager Martin Rogers says: “This is a very exciting time for Curzon. The Curzon and Graham brands compliment each other and increase the offering to both customer bases. Increasing our network across the country ensures our service will reach new customers and the expansion will be supported by initiatives such as a National Spares Centre and rapid customer response service. We are also introducing new product ranges and are developing a new interactive website.”

Martin continues: “The technical complexity of heating components such as boilers is increasing and we are committed to supporting our customers, offering expert advice on the latest technological developments. In addition, stock a large product range including spares for all leading brand names such as Baxi, Worcester, Vaillant, Gloworm, Vokera, Potterton, Myson, Thorn, Honeywell and Ideal.”

Curzon has also established a field based sales team to provide an additional level of support for customers within facilities management, local authorities and commercial markets to rival any other currently on offer. This will soon be combined with a central National Spares Centre offering a rapid response service to provide overnight delivery of non-stocked items and plans to establish mobile branches in certain areas to support customers in areas where demand does not warrant a permanent branch presence.
