GAH Heating launches internal wall hung condensing oil-fired boiler

GAH Heating is expanding its range of high efficiency condensing oil-fired boilers with the launch of a new internal wall hung model, under the thermeco brand.

One of the only oil fired ranges in the industry to boast a SEDBUK A rated wall mounted appliance, the new thermeco model boasts a larger output than other wall hung boilers, at 50-85,0000 BTU and 25 KW.

Previously known as Thermecon, the brand’s new name reflects the range’s clean, green benefits, with the thermeco HE meeting new Government requirements for high efficiency boilers which came into effect in April 2007.

Available in a choice of internal or external models, the thermeco HE range is suitable for conventional and multiple balanced flue options. The external models are proving popular with local authority housing where there is limited space for a boiler inside the home.

The product boasts low noise levels both internally and externally. With front access to ensure ease of servicing, the thermeco HE is designed to make life easy for the installer and service engineer. Moreover, the high grade stainless steel heat exchanger utilises new technology for increased efficiency, incorporating a large surface area designed for high efficiency and long life.

Having taken advice from installers and service engineers GAH have noted concerns with regard to condensing products, so the thermeco condensing boilers are equipped with a secondary heat exchanger which utilises new condenser coil technology that is weld free and therefore not subject to potential problems caused by aggressive condensate.

The range was designed and developed at GAH Heating’s factory near Ipswich. Sales director Graham Gooch comments: “We are proud that the thermeco HE has not only been designed in the UK, but will be manufactured here in Britain.This is an easy boiler to service, and it will maintain high efficiency whilst continuing to be in condensing mode, even when running for longer periods of time.”

For the consumer, the new quiet, high efficiency boiler boasts low running costs and is compact in size. The oil fired boiler is competitively priced, and has back up coverage from a nationwide network of GAH service engineers.
