Having trialled the product and undertaken an initial test launch in the market last year, ADEY Professional Heating Solutions is stepping up production of its new environmentally-friendly de-scaler and sludge remover Detox PowerCleanse. The Cheltenham-based company has been encouraged by a positive response and is pressing the button on a full-scale production programme.

The powerful de-scaler and heavy-duty cleanser, which is non-hazardous, has been developed especially for professional heating engineers and is suitable for a broad range of domestic and commercial systems.

According to the company’s Managing Director Chris Adey, the decision has been prompted by the initial sales of the product over the past six months and an overwhelming vote of confidence from sector professionals.

“Detox PowerCleanse is a natural progression for us in terms of extending our product offering. It fits perfectly with our growing portfolio of products and we believe it will do extremely well. Sales have been performing to plan and feedback has been very positive,” he said.

“It’s effective, environmentally safe, non-hazardous and zero COSHH-rated. It does the job and, importantly, it does it in an environmentally-friendly manner. It’s a natural process, non-poisonous and non-combustible and can be washed away without harmful effects."

The chemical restores peak performance to central heating systems dissolving rusts, copper oxides and hardness scales. Ideal for power-flushing, it is suitable for all metals including aluminium and is self-neutralising.
