Bahco Dry Wall saw designed to cut holes and other non-straight cuts
(17/09/2007)
Bahco’s new high specification Dry Wall saw delivers many performance benefits for the plumber and carpenter. Launched as part of Bahco’s ProfCut™ hand saw range, it is specifically designed to penetrate dry lining walls and partitions to cut holes and other non-straight cuts.
“Its high strength, thick blade, with ground sharp point, means it can easily be pushed or hammered through the wall board,” says Bahco’s Marketing and Customer Services Manager, Richard Packham.
The tough, two piece thermoplastic handle is comfortable to use, as well as durable, and is injection moulded onto the 6 inch blade for complete security. A hole in the handle allows hanging in the workshop.
Made from hardened grade steel for long life under tough conditions, the Dry Wall saw teeth are triple edge ground for an aggressive cut on both push and pull strokes. To protect the saw point and teeth in the tool box and maintain the saw’s sharpness, a tough transparent protector is provided. The point can easily be sharpened by regrinding.
The Bahco Dry Wall Saw is available from ProfCut™ stockists at a recommended retail price of £9.49 (incl. VAT).
