Ashworth launches pipe hanging solution

Suspended tubes need to be secured using an intricate and varied range of anchors, bolts, fixings, channels and clips. Ashworth has announced the launch of its own bespoke Pipe Hanging System.

Already supplying customers with pipes, valves and fittings, Ashworth has extended its range to include pipe hanging solutions. The Pipe Hanging System was launched in conjunction with the new Ashworth brochure ‘Pipe Hanging System Product guide`.

Explaining the thinking behind the new system Ashworth Product Manager (Mechanical Services) Russell Goddard said: “Of the two million metres of tubing sold every year in the UK, more than 80 per cent is suspended from ceilings or fixed to walls in applications such as hot and cold water supply, drainage and fire protection. As Ashworth is already delivering an extensive amount of tubing to our customers, it was a natural progression for us to extend our offering to provide the Pipe Hanging System to complete the package.”

Ashworth embarked on a project to establish the exact tube and fixings that customers required and sourced the latest technically advanced products available. Since the launch, many customers have already commented on the range and depth of stock carried by Ashworth. The success of the new Pipe Hanging System has also won Ashworth several prestigious supply contracts.
