SNA Europe integrates Bahco and Eurotools Group
(30/03/2007)
The Bahco Group has merged with the Eurotools Group. Bahco and Eurotools, both part of Snap-on Incorporated will trade under one name - SNA Europe Ltd. The newly integrated companies now offer customers a complete end-to-end tool range from a true pan-European tool company.
“The merger signifies the arrival of a new market force” comments John Lovatt, Managing Director, SNA Europe [UK]. “Bahco has always proactively sought ways to improve its offering to customers and we’re very excited about what the merger represents within the European tool industry. We will continue to offer professionals and keen D-I-Yers alike the Bahco Tools they have always trusted, only now the choice is much wider with an extended range of tools from the former ‘Eurotools’ factories.
“The Bahco brand has always been synonymous with undisputed quality and ergonomic design. We look forward to enhancing our specialist ERGO® products and premium product design initiatives through the support of a larger organisation. It’s really a case of business as usual, only this time we’re much bigger”.
Bahco Tools will now operate under the name SNA Europe [UK] Ltd. The brands Bahco, Palmera, Irimo, Acesa, Irazola and Lindström will continue as trademarks associated with specific products.
