Bovema launches Domelight, Ventlight and Smokelight ventilation products

Bovema UK has launched a new range of low cost, low profile dome lights on to the UK market.

The current trend towards deep plan buildings has created the need for good quality dome lights and in response, Bovema has launched a new range, all of which are designed around similar rigid aluminium base constructions.

The new Bovema 'Light' series comprises three different products all suitable for industrial or commercial buildings where overall building design requires daylight or ventilation.

The Bovema Domelight is available in a variety of colours and is fixed to a closed position. Each one is tested to ensure that people cannot fall through it and light domes can be installed on every kind of upstand.

Secondly, the Ventlight is an operable lightdome with a separate hinged dome fixed to the base construction to allow for day-to-day ventilation. It can be controlled using manual, electric or pneumatic control, with the lid able to open to a maximum of 300mm, 500mm or 700mm depending on which control is selected.

And finally, the Bovema Smokelight is applied as a smoke ventilator in a smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system. A high quality lightdome, it can be used for the discharge of large quantities of smoke and hot gasses in the event of a fire.

Using an extra electric or pneumatic opening device, the Smokelight can also be used for day-today ventilation and is one of the first such products to be designed from inception to meet the requirements of the new European Standard EN12101."

Each lightdome ventilator has been tested to ensure that it is 'man safe' and that people cannot fall through the unit when closed.
