Cortexa develops gas boiler and radiator elearning courses for Ideal and Stelrad
(21/05/2006)
Ideal and Stelrad have commissioned Cortexa to create two tailored eLearning modules. The modules have been designed by Caradon for Graham, to be used in branches nationwide and to be available to the entire SGBD UK branch network in late 2006.
In Ideal’s module, "Introduction to High Efficiency Gas Boilers", Cortexa has brought the topic to life with carefully constructed animations. By the end of the introduction, students are able to differentiate between the main types of modern gas boiler, understand how they operate and be better placed to advise on the correct matching of boiler type to installation.
Similarly, Stelrad’s "Introduction to Radiators" simplifies radiator sizing, differentiating between the main types of radiators. Easily navigable, the module explains the different radiator configurations and familiarises the student with the Stelrad range.
John Bradley, Caradon Key Account Director for Saint-Gobain UK, who was instrumental in driving the project forward, commented, “We are delighted with the eLearning modules Cortexa have created for us and worked closely with them to perfect the content. The result is that both modules set new standards in clear, informative and interesting training, giving students immediate feedback and allowing their progress to be tracked. The Ideal and Stelrad modules are just the beginning of an ongoing initiative that aims to provide a much more rounded and effective approach to training.”
