Xpelair increases range of energy saving ventilation solutions

Xpelair has introduced 33 new product ranges to comply with the recent revisions to Parts L and F of the Building Regulations and the European Performance of Building Directive (EPBD). The new legislation has created a surge of interest in energy saving ventilation solutions and Xpelair has geared its new product development accordingly.
Fans with the correct installed performance, backdraft shutters and smart sensors are all ways in which carbon emissions can be controlled whilst still delivering effective ventilation.
The Premier Centrifugal range has a backdraft shutter and the extraction rate can be set to optimise performance to room size and duct work runs. A built-in auto humidistat further limits the fan to function only when conditions require.
For optimum efficiency, Xpelair offers a suite of third generation Heat Recovery ventilation units. Xcell domestic units exclusively use heat recovery cells offering efficiency levels of more than 90%, whilst models with Ultra DC technology promise a prolonged working life with substantially lower running costs than conventional AC equivalents.
With the emphasis on reducing energy usage and carbon emissions, the Xpelair technologies together with customised ventilation strategies strike the right balance between a healthy indoor environment and our environmental responsibilities.
