Vortice has launched a new mechanical extract product, the Penta MEV. This Central Extract Unit is designed to automatically extract from 2 to 6 different wet rooms, providing quiet, uninterrupted extract ventilation creating a permanent air path throughout the property.

Air is drawn from the ‘dry’ habitable rooms to the ‘wet’ non-habitable rooms, with an in-built boost facility enabling the extraction rate to increase when there are extra pollutants caused by activities such as cooking.

The new Penta can be discreetly hidden away in a loft or cupboard and connected by both flexible aluminium and modular plastic duct systems. With several new features making installation easier and quicker, the new Penta saves time and money.

With easy access for installation and maintenance, an innovative fixing device for easy suspension or wall/ceiling mounting, and with no adjustments necessary due to its automatic balancing kitchen flow regulator, the Penta is installer friendly.

Complying fully with the System 3 (continuous mechanical extract) of Part F 2006: Means of Ventilation (England & Wales) and BRE Digest 398 (Scotland) the Penta also has third party certified performances which are tested to the EN13141 Standards.
