Rosenberg GKHR and GKHM backward curved radial fans combine an electronically commutated external rotor motor with newly designed integrated power electronics. Like all Rosenberg EC fans, these highly energy efficient units meet all requirements of the new ErP Directive for fans, now in effect in the European Union.
In comparison to conventional AC driven fans, Rosenberg’s ERP-ready EC fans operate at much higher efficiency levels. Rosenberg EC motors are easily speed controllable via integrated electronics. Air volume can be adjusted to any possible operating point. The integrated, intelligent electronics also allow for pressure or air quality control.
The new electronics in Rosenberg GKHR/GKHM free-running impeller fans provide a more compact air movement package. Both power supply and control leads connect directly at the motor, allowing for optimum air movement and efficiency with reduced space requirements. They deliver up to 6.75 inches of static pressure or up to 11,000 CFM of airflow, perfect for many HVAC and air movement applications.
Sizes include 250 mm, 280 mm, 315 mm, 355 mm, 400 mm, 450 mm, 500 mm, 560 mm and 630 mm, available with or without housings for greater design flexibility. They are CE, UL and RoHS approved. In addition to standard products, Rosenberg’s flexible production and application engineering capabilities make it possible to manufacture fans for specific applications and unique customer requirements.
All Rosenberg EC fans feature extended-life, low-temperature brushless DC motors. Because of reduced mechanical content Rosenberg EC fan motors run cooler and quieter.
