Honeywell Sundial RF2 packs provide advanced energy saving control
(16/03/2010)
Government figures reveal 8.5 million UK homes do not even have a thermostat, of which 6 million have a programmer or timer. Honeywell Sundial RF2 packs are an ideal solution to providing advanced energy saving control to the 80 percent of UK homes which lack the minimum controls required by Building Regulations.
Honeywell Sundial RF2 packs make it very easy to provide advanced energy saving control for existing heating systems, and for new installs. The packs contain a timer and thermostat and feature unique two way communication. Simply replace the timer and the thermostat works automatically, with no additional wiring.
The room thermostat in the packs is from the Honeywell DT90 series which uses TPI (Time Proportional and Integral) advanced energy saving control, providing more accurate temperature control than traditional thermostats and uniquely also matches boiler firing to the load on the system, so the boiler operates much more efficiently.
The new Honeywell Sundial RF2 wireless enabled heating control packs featured on the Honeywell stand at the PHEX spring shows at Villa Park. They will also be displayed at Wembley Stadium (28/29 April). The Honeywell stand headlined “Simply remarkable” features the company’s full range of Honeywell domestic heating controls and water products. These include thermostatic radiator valves, digital and analogue thermostats and a comprehensive range of valves and other water controls, all of which live up to the “Simply remarkable” theme.
