Advanced Engineering has launched three new additions to its AC Pro documentation range, helping engineers to stay within the law using simple checkboxes and labels.

The AC Pro range of reporting sheets was an instant success when introduced in 2008, making it easier to follow complex service, breakdown, installation and commission regulations, such as F-gas. They were such a hit that engineers began to request further versions for different applications. Advanced has now responded by introducing two new pads and a set of labels.

The additions cover new F-Gas procedures, as well as changes in best practice recommendations from the Institute of Refrigeration (IoR). They simplify this advice into straightforward checks, providing both engineers and their clients with peace of mind about the paper trail required under the new rules.

The three new members of the AC Pro range are:
• AC Pro Refrigeration Service Report provides specific checklists for services relating to refrigeration systems, including unique points such as checking door seals and internal lighting.
• AC Pro F-Gas Labels enable engineers and their clients to comply with recent legislation introductions on stationary ACR and heat pump equipment.
• AC Pro Pipe Strength & Joint Tightness Test Report helps ACR engineers complete the test now recommended by the IoR quickly and easily, ensuring they have evidence of meeting all the relevant F-Gas Regulations. This includes conformity to regulations laid out in BS EN 378-2:2008+A1:2009.

Advanced sales director Vern Klein explains: “There are two main points that have made the AC Pro family a terrific success. Firstly, the simplicity of the system. The sheets distil complicated and often confusing regulations into a few simple check-boxes that just need to be kept on file to adhere to the law.

“Secondly, the pads and labels have a professional design that can be given directly to clients. This is especially good news for smaller enterprises, which no longer have to worry about purchasing costly bespoke paperwork to present businesslike face to their clients.

“These new AC Pro products embody the no-nonsense values that make the range so popular: they simply make engineers’ lives easier.”
