New BCG and Airmiles partnership takes off
(15/01/2010)
Last year BCG launched its new partnership with Airmiles, the UK's leading travel rewards scheme. To mark the occasion, visitors were given the chance to enter a prize draw with the opportunity to win Airmiles which can be used for free flights that include all taxes, fees and surcharges, Eurostar journeys and special days out.
Ten lucky visitors won 1,500 Airmiles each – enough for a free return flight to places as far afield as Budapest or Malta, five won 5,000 Airmiles which could take them to New York and back, with the top prize of 21,000 Airmiles going to Andy Millns of A1 Interiors.
“I am delighted to win this great prize,” said Andy. “I have been invited to visit friends in New Zealand in Jan 2011 for a 40 th birthday party but I didn’t think I would be able to go. Now I can use these Airmiles for two completely free return flights as I've won enough to take my partner too!
Miles more rewarding
Since January 1st 2010, the new BCG and Airmiles partnership has taken off with customers being rewarded with Airmiles against their purchases. Airmiles offers customers the opportunity to collect Airmiles across a broad range of the BCG product portfolio, up to 1 mile for every £10.00 spent and with a higher number of miles being awarded for specific product ranges and promotions.
Each company signing up to the scheme will have an Airmiles company account with BCG that will be credited with Airmiles collected each time a purchase is made on selected brands. The company will accumulate Airmiles on a monthly basis with the ability to distribute those to individuals within their own business as they wish.
Over two million members collect Airmiles, which can be used for free flights that include airline taxes, fees and surcharges, Eurostar journeys and special days out like LegoLand, Alton Towers and English Heritage Annual Memberships.
BCG joins Airmiles many collection partners including Lloyds Banking Group , Tesco, Shell , and over 200 popular online brands when accessed via the airmiles.co.uk eStore – including johnlewis.com, debenhams.com, Apple store, eBay.co.uk, Comet, Currys, Boden, hmv.com and Waterstone’s.
