BMA Shower Enclosures guide gives a comprehensive review of the product ranges available
(03/07/2009)
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has published a new guide to shower enclosures. The guide, which is essential reading for anyone thinking about a new bathroom, is one in a series from the BMA’s Bathroom Academy.
This edition of the Shower Enclosures guide has been completely revised by experts from the industry and gives the most up-to-date information about this important bathroom product. Enclosures, screens and the increasingly popular steam/shower cabin are covered in the nineteen page booklet.
The use of showers in the UK has been growing rapidly for a number of years and all forecasts suggest that this growth will continue. The choice now available is vast and manufacturers, members of the BMA, have developed products which meet the needs of all situations, styles and budgets.
The guide gives a very readable and comprehensive review of the product range and provides reassurance and help for beginners with the fundamentals of what is available. A section is included on choosing the right product to suit end user needs and examples, images and descriptions are provided to explain the industry terminology.
For the more experienced, sections on installation are included and for those wanting to get down to even more detail a comprehensive list of relevant British and European Standards is provided.
The Shower Enclosures Industry Guide is available free from the BMA and can be downloaded in PDF format from The Bathroom Academy website. The guide is one of eleven which form part of the Bathroom Academy eLeaning programme. Students wishing to gain the coveted Certificate in Bathroom Studies (CBS) can apply on line for more details.
