New Drain Doctor franchise for South London
(03/06/2008)
Local businessman Sel Fayyad is aiming to give the people of South London a 'dazzling' level of service in plumbing and drainage with the launch of his own franchise business in the Drain Doctor network.
After looking at a number of business opportunities Sel decided to take on the Drain Doctor franchise for South London, covering Croydon, Brixton, Battersea, Camberwell and the surrounding areas.
The former IT and telecoms worker said: "I moved from IT into property. I met another Drain Doctor franchisee at a local business networking meeting. I was thinking of taking on a pizza franchise but he encouraged me to call Drain Doctor. I did and the rest is history.
"I chose Drain Doctor, rather than the other franchises I looked at, because they focus on customer service and offer excellent support to their franchisees. I have used Drain Doctor twice for work on my buy-to-let property portfolio and found them to be very quick and very efficient.
"As a developer I know that the two most important areas of renovation in a house are the kitchen and bathroom so it is essential to have the right plumbing help and advice. Drain Doctor Plumbing offers a first class service from quality tradesmen and this is exactly what customers will receive from my new business."
With a team of technicians and vans equipped to deal with almost any plumbing or drainage emergency, Sel aims to change the 'cowboy' image of plumbers.
He said: "We give fixed-price, no obligation quotes; all work is guaranteed; and our technicians are fully trained in the latest techniques, such as closed circuit camera surveys and no-dig drain repairs."
Sel and his team will be working to the highest standards in customer satisfaction. A fleet of technicians in the field will be backed up by Sel's customer service and marketing experience operating using support staff from premises he now shares with West London franchisee, Gordon Killick.
