Walk-in Shower Sales Increase As Developers Move Towards Luxury Finishings

Kudos Showers has experienced a sharp increase in the sale of its walk-in shower units to new build developers. The range of walk-in shower enclosures has being designed and manufactured by Kudos for the last 18 months and has already become a fashionable fitting for new builds. The modern and contemporary shower enclosures add an element of luxury that influences the rest of the house - and builders and developers alike are investing heavily in the products as a result.

David Gannon, Sales and Marketing Director of Kudos Shower Products Ltd, commented: “Walk-in showers are a relatively new venture for Kudos but they are already a mainstay of our business – proportionally due to the numbers sold to builders and developers that are to be installed in new build homes. Traditionally the bathroom was a second thought for some builders and consequently quality was sometimes overlooked. The bathroom is potentially an easy opportunity for builders to save on quality. This new trend signifies a move away from the traditionally inferior enclosure designs found in many new build homes, indicating the regression from cheaper foreign imports and the associated poor build and design quality, in favour of a bathroom that’s a real feature of the home.
