Hanham Heating installs CP Combi boilers

Hanham Heating are one of Bristol's most experienced condensing boiler specialists and installers of central heating systems. With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, the company is always keen to look at new opportunities and technology for its broad base of domestic and commercial customers. With this in mind, the company has installed a number of CP Combi boilers, introduced to the UK by ECA Heating Limited.

The boilers have been on trial within various types and sizes of homes in the Bristol area, the results to date have impressed Gary Dark of Hanham Heating: “From an installer’s point of view, the most important thing is the ease of installation and reliability. The CP scores well in this respect as it offers a built in filling loop, pre-wired mains lead and a good range of flue options and so far has proven very reliable.”

Other features and benefits of the boiler have impressed the owners of the houses where the CPs have been installed. In today’s climate, the energy saving features have been particularly noteworthy. For example, the CP features intelligent preheat or economy modes. Hot water usage is monitored over a 24 hour period allowing the boiler to anticipate hot water demand. The pre-heat function is then operated for an hour before the predicted domestic hot water period, allowing faster hot water.

The CP boiler range includes 24kW and 30kW versions that are SEDBUK A rated . They incorporate a user friendly and highly informative control panel with clear visual indicators of boiler status and temperature control.

Gary believes that ECA with its CP Combi range has a bright future in the UK: “The technology is proven in the European market and the combination of a highly competitive price with high quality, reliable components will put the CP range in great demand.”
