Contracts within the heating and plumbing industry tend to come and go, so what’s Aaron Services’ secret to its seven year relationship with Boston Mayflower Housing Association?

According to Jon Posey, Operational Director at Aaron Services, it is a combination of the reliable service the company offers and the top quality products it uses as part of its service and installation contract with Boston Mayflower (and the other social housing landlords that it works for).

“Just as the housing association trusts us to do a great job, we trust the products that we use to get the job done,” he said. “We’ve been using Sentinel’s’ range of cleansers, inhibitors and Jetflush units for around 20 years, and numerous attempts by rival manufacturers have failed to convince us to switch – to us it’s simply the brand to trust.”

Aaron Services uses Sentinel’s full portfolio of chemicals, including the Corgi product of the year, X800 Jetflo – Sentinel’s powerful cleanser designed to remove iron oxide and calcium based deposits from heat exchangers, radiators and pipework, the X100 inhibitor, X200 noise reducer and X300 cleanser – to ensure the entire system functions like new and that this improved efficiency is long lasting.

Jon added: “We carry out up to 300 jetflushes per year on the new systems we install for Boston Mayflower alone so our Sentinel machines do get an awful lot of use. It’s incredibly important to us that they are reliable and using Sentinel products ensures that our engineers can get their job done quickly and effectively with as little disruption as possible to the homeowners. And they can then leave the property with the confidence that the systems will remain clean and efficient for years to come – reducing the householders’ fuel bills and being kinder to the environment.”

Danny Knight, Sentinel’s UK Key Account Manager added: “The relationship we have with Aaron Services is more than just as manufacturer and customer. They insist on the highest quality in all that they do and we value the expertise they’ve gained over more than 22 years of operation; expertise that we draw upon when developing new products, including our chemicals, Jetflush 4 powerflush unit and our new Jetflush Junior, which they tested for us. Feedback is extremely important in helping us fine tune our products to ensure they offer our customers exactly what they need, so everyone benefits from the partnership, including us as the manufacturer, the contractors, the social housing landlords and the residents themselves.”
