New national promotional campaign from Tapworks

Tapworks, the manufacturer of water softeners, has launched its new 'Tapworks like magic' national promotional campaign in hard water areas across the country. Over the next twelve months, Tapworks will be blitzing plumbers with the campaign through local merchants, targeting specific areas for magic fortnight bursts of concentrated activity, they'll be hitting 196 merchant branches between now and the end of 2006.

This dedicated approach will see plumbers and installers in each of the targeted areas getting a personally addressed invitation to visit the merchant in their area where the promotion is taking place in the week before the Tapworks team lands. They will all receive a follow up letter in ‘week two’ of the campaign, so it will be hard for plumbers and installers to miss the opportunities on offer.

Tapworks MD Mike Pickavance says this campaign is part of on-going activity that is seeing the sale of water softeners on the increase: "Tapworks water softeners are so technologically advanced, affordable and easy to install, more and more households in hard water areas are saying enough’s enough – we have to have one! This promotion will see in-store promotions at your local merchants, a free prize draw for a break at Disney Resort Paris and loads of other prizes up for grabs."

"And in addition, you can talk to our team and take away the latest sales literature specifically designed to help you sell more water softeners, including information you can give to your customers that explains very simply just why they should ask you to install one for them. We know from many installers, most of whom join our installer group ‘Team Tapworks’ free of charge, that this is a very attractive additional income stream for them, and more and more installers are discovering that it’s also a very good way of keeping customers happy – once they have had a water softener in their homes for a week or so, they simply can’t imagine being without one. It makes that much difference to their everyday life."
