Honeywell introduces ST9500 two channel seven day heating programmer
(04/04/2008)
Honeywell has introduced its ST9500 two channel, seven day heating programmer for independent control of two heating zones. It is part of the company’s new ST9000 series of heating programmers and timers launched last October.
The ST9500 can provide up to three on/off periods per day for each of the two zones. It can be configured to provide different programs for each day of the week, 5/2 (weekday/weekend) operation, or restricted to the same program every day.
It is ideal for multi-zone heating as required by the latest Building Regulations Part L1, with radiator and underfloor heating, gas or oil fired boilers including condensing and combination models, as well as electric heating or cooling systems.
In common with all Honeywell ST9000 controls, ST9500 is designed to be easy to program and use using a unique Honeywell Line of Text (LoT ™) display, featuring simple text prompts on a large backlit display.
Installers and users can choose one of several ‘built in’ time/temperature programmes to save time, or programme their own by following simple instructions.
The ST95000 also features temporary or permanent overrides at the touch of a button. The backlit display can be set to “off”, “intermittent” or “continuous” with no extra energy consumption.
