Aeon Radiator Heaven launches Twister designer radiator

Aeon Radiator Heaven launched its Twister designer radiator. The nine flat fronted stainless steel tubes have been twisted along their entire 1.5 and 2 metre lengths, having been mirror polished on one side and finished in brushed satin effect on the other.

Three Twister variants are available. Twister 360 features dual finish mirror and brushed stainless steel elements twisted through an entire 360 degrees while with Twister 180 the tubes are rotated through 180 degrees.

The final design, Twister 90, has been specifically designed for bathroom settings and incorporates nine stainless steel hooks – one for each element – as an integral part of the overall design. These are intended for use with robes and towels.

This new Aeon Radiator Heaven design ranges in height from 1,500 mm to 2,000 mm and in width from 215 mm to 400 mm. Depth (excluding hooks on Twister 90) is a common 70 mm.

Aeon Radiator Heaven radiators are produced from the highest grade solid stainless steel and range from small towel warmers to the mighty 31,611 Btu (9,254 Watt) output Millennium. Every radiator is hand-finished to create the collections’ ‘metal in the raw’ brushed or mirror finish stainless steel effect.

A 20 year guarantee applies across the range.

“This design is one that really dazzles the eye, particularly when lit from behind. The interplay of light on polished and matt surfaces that form part of the same element is truly beautiful. It is also very clever in engineering terms. Twisting each tube increases water flow via a subterfuge effect, increasing radiator efficiency,” says designer, Saffet Kalender.

“We also know we have a genuine world first with this design. Before we could construct our first prototype of Twister, our hardest task was to design and build a machine that could twist such high quality stainless steel uniformly along its entire length. No other company can do this – we know because we searched long and hard!” concludes Kalender.
