Waterloc stormwater management systems installed in Manchester housing development

Stormwater management systems from Marley Plumbing and Drainage have been installed in a new housing development in Manchester, ensuring the area benefits from efficiently managed drainage to reduce the risk of flooding. Built by Richardson Projects the new development features 73 mixed tenure three bedroom properties, and benefits from Marley’s Waterloc drainage solution. Comprising three tanks with a total of 99m3 capacity, the system uses a method of attenuation to temporarily store rainwater below ground level. A number of Flowloc control devices, ranging from 3.8l/s to 9.0l/s pre-set flow rates, control the rate at which rainwater is discharged from the tanks into the stormwater drain or soakaway.
