On average, a UK home uses approximately 150 litres of water a day so it is little wonder that the media continues to bombard us with hints on how to reduce water wastage. These include installing water timers, turning off taps whilst we brush our teeth or even implementing a harvesting system where water can be re-used elsewhere. We all enjoy a long, leisurely bath and a relaxed shower, but these water-thirsty luxuries are under threat as we look to conserve water in our homes.
