Tribune toilet suite from Impulse saves water with dual flush(28/05/2006)
Climate change and global warming are putting increasing pressure on UK water resources. Water conservation and the reduction of consumption are now seen as primary objectives by the government and advisory groups. The toilet is one of the largest users of water accounting for approximately 30-40% of usage in domestic properties and up to 90% in offices. The price of water supplied and sewage taken away have both increased by around 13% over the past five years. The installation of meters on private home water supplies and the cost of water are both set to increase sharply over the next five years.
