Pegler Yorkshire has introduced a Tectite Sprint Socket Depth Gauge. This unique three in one device has been designed especially for the Sprint range to make life for the installer as easy and trouble free as possible and allows Tectite Sprint to be prepared and installed rapidly. The Socket Depth Gauge allows the installer to mark the correct socket depth and also incorporates a deburring tool, which removes any burrs or sharp edges from the external tube end and a scribe function enables Tectite Sprint to be used in conjunction with chrome plated tube. Tectite Sprint push-fit System for faster and easier installation(31/05/2007)
The new NHBC housing regulations were introduced in September 2006 and require that any plastic pipes located behind wall surfaces are made detectable, by applying metallic tape if necessary. This whole time-consuming process is unnecessary if installing a Tectite Sprint push-fit System with Yorkex copper tube, a combination that also provides electrical continuity. Tectite Sprint is the newest product within Yorkshire Fittings’ Tectite push-fit range. Yorkshire water systems installed at new Arena housing development(18/03/2007)
The Arena development by Laing Homes comprises one to four bedroom properties in self-contained buildings of up to four storeys. Each building has its water delivered through a riser, which feeds directly from the cold water pump mains to a central point within the building. The risers then deliver water to each individual apartment via a network of pipes. This new development of apartments and houses in Warwick will benefit from water systems featuring products from Yorkshire, the company which has recently announced a commercial integration with taps and valves specialist Pegler.
