Non-branded accumulators installed on mains fed systems break GAH patent

The patented water control Dualstream system from GAH Heating uses accumulator technology to stabilise poor flow rates and pressure fluctuations which can compromise showers, mains fed fittings and cold supplies to unvented cylinders and combination boilers. Comprising of an patented action diaphragm accumulator and a stainless steel unvented cylinder which link together, the Dualstream system provides maximum performance of the hot and cold outlets, even if two or more supplies are being used at once, and will work on flow rates as low as 9 litres a minute. GAH has recently become aware that non-branded accumulators are being used in some developments rather than the GAH accumulator, which is supplied as part of the Dualsteam system.
