Non-branded accumulators installed on mains fed systems break GAH patent(29/08/2008)
The patented water control Dualstream system from GAH Heating uses accumulator technology to stabilise poor flow rates and pressure fluctuations which can compromise showers, mains fed fittings and cold supplies to unvented cylinders and combination boilers. Comprising of an patented action diaphragm accumulator and a stainless steel unvented cylinder which link together, the Dualstream system provides maximum performance of the hot and cold outlets, even if two or more supplies are being used at once, and will work on flow rates as low as 9 litres a minute. The Coldstream range of accumulators from GAH Heating is a solution to stabilize pressure and flow rate problems that affect combination boiler performance. Pressure without flow rate supporting it will lead to pressure drops, poor performance at water outlets and customer dissatisfaction. Darren Cooper, Dualstream Sales Director at GAH explains: “Many combi boilers are installed on inadequate mains supplies, shared supplies or in situations where many units will be used simultaneously at peak times, such as in a block of flats.
